How Does The iPod Classic 128GB SSD Upgrade Option Work?
The first thing we do before any repair is test the iPod classic to confirm the fault. It is possible to get the iPod to perform a SMART scan of its hard drive. This will give an indication on whether the data has become corrupt, or the drive itself is damaged. We can go on to swap the hard drive for the 128GB SSD. Once swapped we test the iPod before dispatching it back to our customer.
