How Does The MacBook Logic Board Repair Option Work?

We complete these repairs on a case-by-case basis. Liquid damage has a varying severity depending on factors like how much liquid is on the board, the actions taken after the liquid damage happened and what parts of the electronics the liquid has affected.

We then proceed to strip the MacBook down so we can inspect the internal components. We clean as we go to get rid of any dust or dirt that may have got into the casing and also remove any signs of corrosion as best we can. If there is a clear water-damaged section we will concentrate our efforts there.

We use our experience, schematics and logic to solve complex issues with motherboard on all devices. Any repairable fault, we will find and fix it. There are however times that we can't help if certain chips are at fault. This is where chips are programmed by the manufacturer and access is restricted to any 3rd party.

If we cannot fix your device, we would refund the repair fee less our minimum fee as set out in our terms and conditions.
