How Does The PS4 500GB Hard Drive Replacement Option Work?
The first thing we do is test the hard drive to see if the fault is software or hardware based. The software we use to conduct the test will tell us if there are errors with the software on the hard drive, or if the hard drive itself is beyond repair. If the software is corrupt then we will fix this under the cheaper PS4 Software Repair option. If the hard drive has bad sectors we will replace it.
