How Does The Xbox Series S Loud Fan or Overheating Repair Option Work?
Once our repairers get your Xbox Series S on their desk, they will test it out to diagnose the fault.
The Xbox Series S is then stripped all the way down. We use air lines and a dust extraction bench to clear out all the dust that has built up inside the Xbox Series S. We also clean up the old crusty thermal paste from the APU and heatsink and top up with fresh top of the range thermal paste.
We also clean out the disk drive if dust has got inside that too - they are usually ok though.
Once the service is complete, we test the Xbox Series S out to make sure it isn't overheating.
