The internal Power Supply Units or PSU has various components that can become faulty and too sensitive so they cut off during normal use. We have had Xbox Series S consoles sent in after a power surge that has caused damage to the Xbox Series S too causing the Xbox Series S to have power issues. If the console cuts off, and won't turn on again unless you unplug and plug the cable in, the PSU is the likely cause.
As with all repairs we first test the Xbox Series S to confirm the fault. Once we establish that it is the PSU at fault we will dismantle the Xbox Series S and swap the PSU. We then test the console before reassembling it.
