How Does The MacBook Keyboard Replacement Option Work?
Once our repairers get your MacBook on their desk, they will test it out to diagnose the fault. If the keyboard needs to be replaced, they have to take all the internals out.
The MacBook keyboard is fastened to the palm rest with rivets. These are removed and replaced with screws to secure it in place again. It is quite a time consuming job.
Once replaced, the Macbook is reassembled for testing.
